The Scientific Senate of the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania organizes a new edition of the International Fair of Inventions and Innovations in the food field “INOVALIMENT”. Registrations can be submitted until November 10, 2022, on www.inovaliment.ro, in the Project Registration section.
“We announce the launch of the third edition of the INOVALIMENT Invention and Innovation Fair. Food research is a current field and of utmost importance because nutrition is directly correlated with health and increasing longevity”, said Lăcrămioara Frăseinanu, Project Manager of the Scientific Senate.
The fair is addressed to all researchers and specialists in the food industry, both those from the university environment and those who work in institutes and research stations in Romania, but also in other countries.
In this year, INOVALIMENT Grand Prix battle, researchers need to come up with viable solutions to modern food problems.
The theme of this year’s edition challenges INOVALIMENT researchers to propose “Innovative solutions to the global challenge of transforming the food system.
“It is estimated that the planet will be overcrowded by 2050, therefore a transformation of thecurrent food system into a sustainable, safe food system that provides access to a healthy diet produced by a healthy planet is needed. The Romanian food research is part of this direction, which is why, through this fair, we want to offer a platform to promote the activity of our specialists and not only“, said Lăcrămioara Frăseinanu, Project Manager of the Scientific Senate.
